At Gary Community Ventures, I work with people to figure out where AI can genuinely help. Sometimes that means building a tool. Sometimes it means rethinking a workflow or sitting down together to try something out. I do the engineering and the coaching, and I run demos and office hours where people can bring their own questions.
Before Gary, I was a site reliability engineer at Duo Security / Cisco.
An iPhone and iPad app that turns your own photos into paint-by-number puzzles.
I built paintr for my wife, who loves settling into long, detailed painting sessions. That shaped the app: choose how much detail you want, take your time, and come back to a painting over several evenings.
Photos are converted on your device. You can also share a puzzle with someone so they can paint their own copy, with the option to keep the finished picture a surprise.
A Mac app and browser extensions I built to copy videos from supported Reddit and public X posts directly to your clipboard, ready to paste into a chat.
A tool I built to delegate work from Codex to Claude and keep track of the resulting jobs and conversations.
I automated a recurring operating-system patch rollout so it could begin when new hardened images became available. The system rolled changes through AWS infrastructure in stages, using service health checks and time between stages to catch failures.
I’m based in Colorado. Outside of work, I’m usually bringing people together around a game, an escape room, or a murder mystery party. I like creating things people can participate in, whether that’s an app, a workshop, or a slightly overambitious game night.
